Top Reason Why Your Website Sucks

It’s amazing how many websites fail because of simple things. Sometimes lack-of-passion kills a website, but more times than not, it’s something that the webmaster can control.
The real problem is, is that we are seeing more and more little robots of websites being created. Uniformity is being embraced, and creativity is being drowned out. Your website sucks because of it.

Uniformity Kills Websites

One of the biggest problems that I see in the everyday web-world is that everybody seems to think that following in the footsteps of the big named people will somehow result in their own benefit. The results, however, couldn’t be further from that idiotic dream.
It doesn’t really matter what market you’re targeting – there is, in nearly every single situation, at least one competitor. The consumers of the market, therefore, already have something that works. Kind of works, at least.

It is extremely rare to find two companies, websites, or products that are exactly the same and producing similar results in terms of “success”. It just doesn’t happen – people want better and better things all of the time.

Strategies Are Never Constantly Successful

Marketing strategies from ten years ago share very few similarities to those of today. Design trends from the first are also very different – it will always be like this.
People are still bent on the idea that being blackhat and spamming crappy links will get them some SEO value. Those that are uniform in their SEO approaches have found out that it doesn’t work – Google caught on and slapped them.

As time moves forward, consumers, readers, and audiences want change – they don’t want to see the same design and product over and over.

Case and point, let’s look at the major nuke-sized hole that Apple left in the phone industry in 2007. Instead of introducing another plastic-set keyboard with an un-interactive screen, Apple took it to the next level.

At first, nobody expected the device to take over – it was just too different. Today, the iPhone has revolutionized everything and is currently one of the most well-known and respected devices out there. If it was just another uniform look-alike, its lifetime would have been short.

The Best Keep on Growing

I’ve began noticing a trend, lately – A-List bloggers are able to grow larger and larger by the day, simply by showing others their plans. That may sound confusing, but it’s really true.
People want to achieve success, so they go ahead and look at others who already have it (or who they think have it). They apply the strategies [which are bound to fail], and, in a few months time, find out that they’re unsuccessful.

Instead of cutting it off there and looking for diverse options to grow, the foolish webmaster will go right back and find out the person’s future plans. What they are getting in to. What sort of products they are releasing. What kind of design they are working on.

Morph Ideas From Others

The most important thing you can do to amount to any level of success is simple – look at the best of the best, look at what they’re doing, and change it up.

Don’t serve everybody the same burgers that the higher-ups are serving – add some new flavouring to it and see what happens. I guarantee it’ll be beautiful.

When redesigning WebsiteBegin, that was one of the biggest things I did – I went to a bunch of websites that I loved and looked at what they were doing. I took notes. I thought about how they could be improved.

Then I did it. And the changes were great.

How Instagram Can Be Beneficial To Your Social Media Optimization Campaign

Are you thinking of getting in on the action that is occurring on free photo-sharing social media optimization platform Instagram?  Well, you should if your company is in the business of taking massive amounts of photos while you are working around the office, visiting clients, attending events, or having co-worker bonding time.

Using Instagram during your social media optimization campaign will give you the chance to stimulate a person’s or future customer’s emotions, and can provide them with a visual call to action; although this call to action doesn’t necessarily mean that you are making a sale.  A call to action on Instagram means that you are stirring the pot to get some feedback on what is happening in the world of your business.  It is possible to take photos of your products and put them on Instagram, but most people will be looking for photos to view and provide feedback on.

Do you desire some criticism, whether or not it is constructive?  If so, then Instagram will provide you with exactly what you are looking for.

Have new products to show off, share them on Instagram!  Better yet, are you ready to launch or promote new products and services?  These are some of the cutting-edge moments your followers may be looking for, and if they like what they see, (or they don’t) they will provide you with the feedback you are craving.

In all, Instagram can serve as the means to show how your business is creative.  Some of the best businesses to be on Instagram are those that are in the arts, the food industry, boutiques, designers, retail stores, and news outlets.  If you are involved in any of those types of businesses, you probably produce lot things people will be searching for on Instagram.  So, why not share it on Instagram, one of the new and hottest photo-sharing social media sites?!?!
